קְרַר, קוֹרch. sam(קרר IIto be cold). Pa. קָרֵיר to cool. Sabb.8b דעבידי אינשי לקָרוּרֵי נפשייהו when people are wont to cool themselves (by walking in pools), v. רָקָק. Af. אַקֵּר same. Pes.76a אַקּוּרֵי קא מֵיקַר ליה it cools the juice off; a. e. Ithpa. אִתְקָרָר, Ithpol. אִתְקוֹרָר to be cooled off, cool ones self. Targ. Y. Ex 2:5 לאִתְקַרְרָא. Targ. Y.
